Please read instructions thoroughly before installing!!

The key to an easy and successful installation of the E.T.GRIP is using a generous amount of assembly

lube.

All E.T.GRIPS are made slightly undersized to allow them to “form fit” to each individual handle. The use of a lubricant in installing

the grip is required. Use the enclosed packet of lubricant only and follow the directions carefully.

Installing your E.T.GRIP:

Feed your hook-up leads down inside the grip and through the bottom slot. If “gator” clips are already installed, feed them through one

at a time starting with the longest lead.

You will notice that the E.T.GRIP is angled at the top. Slide the grip up the wires and position the long side towards the back of

the handle. Important! The long side of the E.T.GRIP must be aligned with the rear parting line of the controller or it may interfere

with the trigger operation. (See detail A)

Open the enclosed packet of installation lubricant. Place a large dab of lube on your finger and swab around the entire inside of the

E.T.GRIP with a generous layer of lube from bottom to top. Next apply a layer of lubricant around the controller handle including

the base.

Using clean dry hands only (do not use any tools) work the grip over the handle and push upwards until it completely bottoms. Use

your fingers to “massage” the grip into the proper position. If properly installed, the top of the E.T.GRIP should be even with the

bottom of the trigger window and the wire exit slot should be aligned over the handle’s parting line. (See detail B)

Check to be sure the wires are routed neatly through the bottom slot and the trigger operates freely. In the event that the grip interferes

with the trigger operation check to be sure it is properly aligned as per details A and B.

Wipe off any excess lubricant with a clean damp cloth.

Removing your E.T.GRIP:

If the need should arise to service your controller, remove the E.T.GRIP by using a small trimming scissor to create a slit at the top of

the grip. (See detail C)

After slitting down about an inch, use your fingers to peel the grip apart and slide it back over the leads.

After servicing and checking controller operation, install a new E.T.GRIP and you’re ready to race!

To keep your E.T.GRIP performing like new, wipe off occasionally using a mild soapy solution.

Your E.T.GRIP is designed to give many hours of enjoyable use.
